Simulator for Nuclear Power Plants

For training and engineering

Nuclear Power Plant operators use our simulators to train and accredit their personnel on standard, incidental and accidental operation in compliance with safety authorities' requirements. These safety requirements stipulate that the simulator's performance must be in accordance with the reference section. Trainees thus develop good professional automatisms.

CORYS T.E.S.S., a world leader in the sector, has developed over a hundred nuclear simulators. All are characterized by their accuracy and reliability, guaranteeing an extremely high level of availability.

The simulators are also used by safety and I&C engineers, as well as experts in the human factor and engineering procedure: full-scale simulators reproduce the way the reactor functions so accurately, they can be used to assist design and optimization..

Reference :

In association with EDF, we are developing the world's first EPR reactor simulator.
It is currently used as an engineering tool to validate design documents for the engineering construction project of the future Flamanville nuclear power station. Its content evolves regularly as the detailed design progresses. As of 2010, it will be a training tool for future operators.
