We apply the expertise acquired in energy production power plants to the naval sector. The simulation of on-board nuclear boilers nonetheless presents significant particularities: reduced size, compactness, context for use - availability is vital -, management characterized by very brutal running variations for propulsion needs.
Our simulators are used in the design phase, most of all to optimize the safety/availability duo, completion (tests and validations) and operation (modifications, incident analysis). Once their teaching functions are complete, they can also ensure the training of project operators and collaborators. Specific models qualified by engineering studies are also integrated.
For AREVA TA we created the porting of the SARIE (Simulateur d'Analyse des Réacteurs et Installations à Eau) [Reactors and Water Plants Analyse Simulator] study simulator in our ALICES® workshop preserving all of the existing functions. The benefits:
